HOW TO PLAY AND WIN
Each Play has its own Play Number - this can be found on the Game outcome screen once the Game has been finished, in the “My Games” section of Your Account.
At the start of a Play, You are presented with a splash screen displaying the Game name, the message: 'WIN UP TO £10,000', a 'TUTORIAL' button and a 'PLAY' button. You must select 'PLAY' or 'TUTORIAL' to continue.
Tutorial
If You select 'TUTORIAL', You will be taken to the Tutorial screens (the “Tutorial”). The Tutorial is simply an explanation of how to play the Main Game, with interactive instructions. Please note, the actions in the Tutorial does not affect the outcome of Your Play of the Game.
The message 'You can drag a symbol to any joining hexagon. Have a go!' will appear to the left of a grid consisting of 25 hexagons (the “Tutorial Grid”). You must select and hold the symbol in the Tutorial Grid and, whilst continuing to hold onto the symbol, drag it to any adjacent hexagon.
Once You have done this, a 'NEXT' button will appear, which You must select to continue the Tutorial. On doing so, the message 'Reveal prize values by making a LINK of 4 or MORE matching symbols. Try it!' will appear to the left of the Tutorial Grid, and the Tutorial Grid will be populated with 4 symbols. You must drag the symbol in the centre of the Tutorial Grid to the left so that it is in a hexagon adjacent to the other symbols. On doing so, the 4 symbols will animate and disappear to indicate that You have successfully completed a link of at least 4 matching symbols (a “Link”), and a 'NEXT' button will appear which You must select to continue the Tutorial.
On doing so, the message 'A LINK can be a LINE or a BLOCK. Make a block of 4.' will appear to the left of the Tutorial Grid, and the Tutorial Grid will be populated with 4 symbols. You must drag the symbol in the centre of the Tutorial Grid to the left so that it is in a hexagon adjacent to the other symbols, forming a block. On doing so, the 4 symbols will animate and disappear to indicate that You have successfully completed a Link and a 'NEXT' button will appear which You must select to continue the Tutorial.
On doing so, the message 'Make a long LINK.' will appear, and all the hexagons in the Tutorial Grid will populate with a selection of different symbols. You must drag the symbol in the centre of the top row of the Tutorial Grid down, swapping it with the symbol directly below, forming a Link. The message 'COOL!' will appear and the Link will animate and disappear from the Tutorial Grid, and a 'NEXT' button will appear which You must select to continue the Tutorial.
On doing so, the message 'A PINEAPPLE SYMBOL will clear the board' will appear, and the Tutorial Grid will populate with a selection of different symbols, one of which will be a pineapple symbol (the “Pineapple Symbol”) which will animate and clear the entire Tutorial Grid of symbols, making them disappear. A 'NEXT' button will appear which You must select to continue.
On doing so, the message 'If you get stuck tap the HINT button for a suggested move. This will not affect the outcome of your game. Try it!' will appear, and the Tutorial Grid will populate with symbols. To the right of the Tutorial Grid, a HINT button will appear, which You must select. On doing so, a white hand (the “Hint Gesture”) will appear and will make a dragging movement from one hexagon to another to indicate a possible move You can make. You must drag the symbol contained within the hexagon over which the Hint Gesture is moving, completing the suggested move and creating a Link.
You must then select the 'NEXT' button to continue. On doing so, You will complete the Tutorial Game and You will be taken to the splash screen, where the message 'Now play for real for the chance to WIN!' will appear. You must then select the 'PLAY' button to start the Main Game.
Main Game
On selecting the 'PLAY' button, You will be presented with a grid containing 25 hexagons (the “Grid”), each hexagon containing a symbol. To the left of the Grid is the Prize Table, which consists of 8 rows (the “Prize Table”). Each row in the Prize Table displays a line of 5 unfilled boxes and a monetary amount. Below the Grid is the message 'LINKS LEFT: 15' (the “Links Left Counter”). You can access the instructions by selecting the 'cog' button to the right of the Grid at any point during Your Play.
To continue Your Play, You must drag a symbol to an adjacent hexagon so that by doing so, You create a link of at least 4 matching symbols (a “Link”). This is known as making an 'Available Move'. On making an Available Move, the Link of matching symbols will animate and disappear, the Links Left Counter will decrease by 1, and a monetary amount will appear on screen and animate to populate a box in the corresponding Prize Table row for the monetary amount revealed. The remaining symbols will then drop down to fill the gaps left by the disappeared Link, and new symbols will populate the gaps at the top of the Grid. A monetary amount revealed on making an Available Move does not correspond to the type of symbol used to create the Link, nor the number of symbols used in an Available Move to create a Link.
If You try to drag a symbol to a hexagon which does not make an Available Move and the creation of a Link, that symbol will bounce back to its original hexagon, and You must try a different move. If You are unsure how to make an Available Move You can select the HINT button to the right of the Grid, which will highlight an Available Move in the Grid. The hint will continue to demonstrate an Available Move until You make that move, or any other Available Move.
Sometimes, on making an Available Move to create a Link, the symbols will drop down to gaps in the Grid in such a way that another Link may be created automatically, without You having made a move. This is known as a 'Cascade'. When a Cascade occurs, created Links will reveal monetary amounts and fill the Prize Table in the same way that Available Moves do, the Links Left Counter will decrease by the number of Links created. Once the Cascade finishes and no more Links are created automatically, You may continue Your Play by continuing to make Available Moves. In the event that a Cascade occurs and the Links Left Counter reaches 0, the Game will end at this point and the Cascade will not play out.
If a Pineapple Symbol appears in the Grid, the Pineapple Symbol will animate and clear all of the symbols from the Grid, and a monetary amount will appear, populating a box in the corresponding Prize Table row according to the monetary amount revealed. Symbols will then repopulate the hexagons in the Grid.
You must continue to make Available Moves until the Links Left Counter has decreased to 0. If You have filled all 5 boxes of a row in the Prize Table, that Prize Table row will flash to indicate that You have won that monetary amount as a 'Prize'. The message 'GAME OVER' will appear in the centre of the Game Play Window, followed by a message indicating the amount You have won, if any. The word 'FINISH' will appear below the message. You must select FINISH to complete the Game.
If You have bought a Play of this Game and have won a Prize by populating all 5 boxes in a row in the Prize Table, You will, providing the requirements of these Procedures and the Rules are met, be entitled to the total monetary amount of your Prize(s), (the “Prize Amount”) as detailed in the table below:
