Lotto Match 3 to Win £60 Promotion
In the 'Match 3 to win £60' Lotto promotion, each winning entry in the Match 3 prize category will receive £60 instead of the usual £30, subject to prize capping.
The amount of money available to top up each winning Lotto entry in the match 3 prize category from £30 to £60 is £13million (the “£13million Promotion Prize Fund”). In the unlikely event that the £13million Promotion Prize Fund is not sufficient to top up each winning Lotto entry in the match 3 prize category by the required £30, then the Lotto promotion prize will be capped and will be less than £60.
How will my capped promotion prize be calculated?
The capped promotion prize payable to each winning entry in the match 3 prize category will be calculated as follows:
- Each winning entry will receive the £30 it would win if there was no promotion in that Lotto Draw.**
- The £13million Promotion Prize Fund will be divided by the number of winning entries in the match 3 prize category.
- The amount calculated under step 2 (the “Capped Top-Up Amount”) will be added to the £30 prize referenced in step 1 and this will be the total prize payable to each winning entry in the match 3 prize category.
**in the very unlikely event that match 3 to match 5 + bonus ball prize capping takes place in accordance with the Lotto Game Procedures, each winning entry in the match 3 prize category may receive less than £30 as a core game prize (the “Capped Match 3 Prize ”). In this scenario, the amount payable to each winning Lotto entry in the match 3 prize category will be the Capped Match 3 Prize plus the additional £30 (or the Capped Top-Up Amount) from the £13million Promotion Prize Fund.
