Who will lift the trophy?
The sporting heroes you've supported are up for top TV honours. On Sunday, we'll find out who is BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2015. And the chances of it being someone you’ve supported are high as more than half of all the contenders have been lottery funded.
The seven lottery-funded sports stars on the shortlist (of 12) are: Jess Ennis-Hill (heptathlete), Lizzie Armitstead (cyclist), Mo Farah (long-distance runner); Chris Froome (cyclist); Adam Peaty (swimmer), Greg Rutherford (long-jumper) and Max Whitlock (gymnast).
Even the venue for this year’s event has had lottery funding – Belfast's SSE Arena received the biggest ever lottery grant to a project in Northern Ireland – £45 million – and is now one of the UK's leading sports and entertainment venues.
So vote now if you want one of your athletes to win and tune into BBC 1 at 6.50pm on Sunday to find out who will lift the prestigious trophy.
