Paris 2024 heroes celebrate at our big Homecoming event
Fresh from making us proud at Paris 2024, our Team GB athletes have celebrated another successful Olympic Games by cutting loose at The National Lottery’s Team GB Homecoming event.
The star-studded event was held at the AO Arena Manchester on Saturday 17th August. Hosted by Emma Willis and Vernon Kay, it featured a stellar line-up of musical artists including Clean Bandit, Jess Glynne and Pete Tong.
The event was a chance for the athletes to celebrate their incredible achievements, dedication and passion.
National Lottery players had the opportunity to enter a ballot to win free** tickets to this amazing night as a thank you for powering Team GB to success since 1997. Your ticket was their ticket to Paris.
If you didn’t make it to our Team GB Homecoming event don’t worry: you can watch highlights on BBC iPlayer.
You’ve also got the chance to attend our Homecoming event for our ParalympicsGB stars on Thursday 12th September. You can find details about this event (including the ballot to get free** tickets) here.
National Lottery funding has helped Team GB and ParalympicsGB win over 1,000 Olympic and Paralympic medals since 1997. And thanks to National Lottery players, 1,180 athletes benefit from world class coaching, facilities and support teams, meaning they can focus full-time on training to be the best they can be.
