Glasgow Science Centre

As part of National Lottery Open Week you can get one free child ticket when you buy an adult day ticket for the Science Mall at Glasgow Science Centre. Attractions include the chance to fly across the solar system in the Planetarium or enjoy a movie on the huge IMAX screen - the biggest in Scotland!

National Museum of Flight, North Berwick

With exhibits ranging from a Concorde supersonic airliner and a Boeing 707 to Spitfires and Messerschmitts, The National Museum of Flight is a must-see for anyone interested in the history of aviation. Visitors can immerse themselves in interactive exhibitions and learn the stories behind the flying machines and the daring people who piloted them.

Scottish Maritime Museum Linthouse, Irvine

Offer: Free entry 9th-17th March March 2024

Step inside Scotland’s ‘Cathedral of Engineering’ - the vast Linthouse shipyard building - or discover historic vessels including MV Spartan, the harbour tug Garnock and SY Carola, a steam yacht built in 1898. There are plenty of interactive games to enjoy and don’t forget to refuel at Puffers Cafe as you take in the views of the River Irvine estuary.

The Kelpies, Falkirk

The Kelpies are a pair of man-made marvels standing 100 feet tall and each weighing 300 tonnes. They were created by artist Andy Scott - using Clydesdale horses as his inspiration - and symbolise the heavy horses that once pulled wagons, ploughs, barges and coalships in this part of Scotland. During Open Week you’ll be able to take a free guided tour that gets you inside one of these incredible structures. Offer not available for advanced booking and subject to availability.
