This year’s event runs from Saturday 9th March to Sunday 17th March 2024. Hundreds of amazing places across the UK are taking part, which means you can use your National Lottery ticket or Scratchcard to get free entry, discounts and special offers‡ at all sorts of attractions – from historic houses and castles, to museums and art galleries, sporting venues and wildlife hotspots.

Many of the places taking part have been supported by The National Lottery. Indeed, National Lottery Open Week 2024 is our way of thanking you, our players, for the £4Million on average you raise every day for good causes.
During National Lottery Open Week 2024 there are free and low-cost days out to be enjoyed in every corner of the UK. For history enthusiasts, there’s free child entry to the Tower of London as well as free entry to selected English Heritage properties including Dover Castle.
Alternatively, you can step aboard HMS Belfast on The Thames, get back to nature at an RSPB nature reserve or see plants from around the world at Eden Project.A visit to National Trust for Scotland’s Glencoe visitor centre is a fantastic way to learn the history of this fascinating place and there’s a 20 percent discount available on tickets to the Llias festival at Cardiff’s spectacular Millennium Centre Wales. In Northern Ireland, you can step back in time and enjoy free entry to Ardress House, an elegant 17th century mansion in County Armagh.
