The National Lottery’s Big Eurovision Welcome
It was a night of sequins and stack heels when The National Lottery’s Big Eurovision Welcome kicked off in Liverpool.
The spectacular live show outside Liverpool’s St George’s Hall was hosted by AJ Odudu and Joel Dommett on Sunday 7th May 2023.
It included performances from Liverpool icons Frankie Goes To Hollywood and The Lightning Seeds as well as superstar acts including Atomic Kitten, The Vivienne, Ukrainian Eurovision winner Jamala and Eurovision legend Conchita Wurst. (See photos below).

The National Lottery’s Big Eurovision Welcome is yet another example of how your ticket unlocks fun. To thank our players for supporting music and cultural projects in every corner of the UK, including over 3,600 in Liverpool alone, we offered up to 30,000 tickets to the event on a first-come, first-served basis. The tickets, which were free (plus a £2 booking fee), were all taken.
